St. Patrick’s Day Celebration 2020

2020 was a crazy year. The band prepared for a normal-for-us St. Patrick's Day and we were only able to play one event before the lockdown was initiated.

The first and last of the festivites started with our friends at Cabin Boys Brewery on Saturday, March 14th. The crowds were good sized and in good spirits; speaking of spirits, Cabin Boys debuted their Kilkenny's Irish Red Ale and the band unanimously gave it a Pipe Band Seal of Approval.

After performing at Cabin Boys Brewery, the band drove to McNellie's South City for an unplanned mini-performance. Once the applause ended, we stayed for pub grub and refreshments.

This band loves to perform for any fans of Scottish/Irish music. We were saddened to not be able to drive to some of our most favorite businesses and see all the smiling faces.

As a tribute to all of the people around the world that were forced to shelter in place by the pandemic, we created a "from home" pipe band tune to send out via social media.

St. Patrick was a SCOT!

He was born near Dumbarton, in Scotland, in the year 387!
